In the illustrations below, where it has first.last replace this with your email address, ie. joe.smith (or what ever your email address was set up as) Where it says yourdomain.com or mail.yourdomain.com replace with your domain name ie. netmatrix.com or mail.netmatrix.com Email: MS Outlook You must properly configure the Internet Mail information service to send and receive mail with Outlook. To configure this information service, follow these steps: GO HERE IF YOU ARE MAKING CHANGESOR CHECKING YOUR SETTINGS 1. Start Outlook, and on the Tools menu, click Accounts. ![]() 2. Click on the Mail: Tab
The Internet Connection Wizard will open
4. Type in your real name: ie Joe Smith 5. Click the Next> button:
6. Type in your email address: ie joe.smith@yourdomain.com 7. Click the Next> button:
8. My incoming mail server should be POP3 9. Click the Next> button:
10. type in your account name: ie joe.smith 11. Click the Next> button:
12. Click the Finish button: START HERE IF YOU ARE MAKING CHANGESOR CHECKING YOUR SETTINGS You should have something that looks like this:
13. Highlight your email Account and click the Properties button:
14. On the General Tab you should have something that looks like
above. 15. Click the Servers Tab.
16. On the Servers Tab you should have sonething that looks like
above. 17: Click on the Advanced Tab.
19: Drag the Server Timeouts to Long 20: Click the Apply Button
