In the illustrations below, where it has first.last replace this with your email address, ie. joe.smith (or what ever your email address was set up as) Where it says mydomain.com or mail.mydomain.com replace with your domain name ie. netmatrix.com or mail.netmatrix.com

Email: MS Outlook XP   

You must properly configure the Internet Mail information service to send and receive mail with Outlook. To configure this information service, follow these steps:   


1. Start Outlook, and on the Tools menu, click E-Mail Accounts. 


2. On the E-Mail Accounts window, Click on Add a new e-mail Account, click the Next> button

3. Server Type, click POP3, click the Next> button

4.    Fill in your the Your Name: E-Mail Address: POP3 and SMTP Server: Logon User NAme and Password:

5) Click the More Settings... Button

Where it says: Mail Account
replace pop3.mydomain.com with you a name for this email address.
fill in your compay name in the Organization:
fill in your email adrress for the Reply E-mail:

  
5. Click on the Outgoing Server tab. Put a check in the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication


6) Ckick on the Advanced tab.

7) Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) FROM 25 TO 24

8) Server Timeouts, drag all the way to the right > Long

6) click the OK button.

7) Click the Next> button.

8) Click the Finich> button.

You will be able to send and receive your internet email.

Click on the Send/Receive button

OR

Click onthe the Tools Send/Receive Send and Receive All (or press the F9 function key)
